Privacy Policy
Netsona helps you publish a lightweight business page on your own domain, and optionally set up email forwarding. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
1) What we collect
- Account data: email address, password hash, and basic profile settings (e.g. handle, display name).
- Page content: title, headline, text you write, links, and images you upload.
- Domain settings: domains you connect, verification status, and related tokens needed to provision custom domains.
- Email settings: forwarding address (where mail is forwarded to) and mailbox settings.
- Usage data: basic metrics like page view events (e.g. timestamp, and optional hashed IP / user agent when enabled).
- Support messages: information you send us when you contact support.
2) How we use data
- To operate the service (sign-in, page rendering, domain verification, email forwarding setup).
- To provide analytics inside your dashboard (e.g., view counts).
- To communicate with you about service-related updates (billing, incidents, important notices).
- To prevent abuse and improve reliability (rate limiting, debugging, basic security monitoring).
3) Public pages
Your Netsona page is designed to be public. Any information you publish on your page (text, links, contact buttons, images) may be visible to anyone who visits your domain.
4) Domain & email
When you connect a domain, we store the configuration needed to route that domain to your Netsona page. If you enable email forwarding, we store your forwarding destination (e.g. your Gmail) and the forwarding address.
Note: DNS records are configured at your domain’s DNS host. Netsona shows instructions, but does not control your DNS provider.
5) Payments
If you subscribe, payments are processed by a payment provider (for example, Stripe). We may store identifiers such as customer ID, subscription ID, plan, and subscription status to manage billing and access.
6) Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with service providers strictly to operate Netsona (e.g., domain provisioning, email forwarding infrastructure, payment processing), and only as needed.
7) Data retention
We keep account and configuration data while your account is active. If you delete your account (or if we deactivate it), we may retain limited logs for security and compliance reasons for a reasonable period.
8) Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your password and email account secure.
9) Your choices
- You can update your page content at any time.
- You can remove connected domains or email addresses from your dashboard.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time (if applicable).
10) Contact
